Descloizite is a lead zinc vanadate hydroxide mineral with the formula PbZn(VO₄)(OH). It crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system.

Colors range from red-brown and red-orange to dark brown and nearly black. Descloizite has a Mohs hardness of about 3 to 3.5 and a very high specific gravity of about 6.2.

It forms as a secondary mineral in oxidized zones of base-metal deposits and may occur as prismatic, pyramidal, botryoidal, or drusy aggregates.
